Collections

Files worked by attorneys. Each file receives personal attention from an experienced attorney, not a secretary, paralegal, or second-year associate. Regular status reports are provided. Current clients include insurance companies, banks, credit unions, finance companies, collection agencies, and credit card issuers. Contingency rates negotiable depending on quantity and quality of information provided (i.e., debtor's address, employer, assets), size of debt, number of assignments, division of responsibilities, and other factors.

Insurance Subrogation and Consulting

Agent, regulator & in-house counsel. Work experience in various aspects of the insurance industry provides a broad background to handle insurance issues. Specialized knowledge with Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, and completion of seven parts of the Fellow of Life Management Institute (FLMI) designation. We handle subrogation, coverage questions, regulatory and compliance issues, and arbitration proceedings for various insurance carriers (see Business Clients).

Traffic

Preserve your driving record, save insurance premiums and time. A traffic ticket can mean more than a minor annoyance. Moving violations usually mean higher insurance rates, and almost always justify the added expense of amending them to non-moving violations. Save time by having us appear on your behalf. We also handle driving under the influence (DUI) and driver's license suspensions.

Domestic Relations

Experience, empathy, efficiency. Our objective is to help our clients through what is considered a difficult process for most people. Family law does not necessarily have to equal family litigation. Strong advocacy for fair resolutions of marital relationships. Listening, understanding, and counseling assists clients process the changes associated with divorce.

Worker's Compensation

Aggressive representation. With experience representing claimants, respondents, and the Kansas Workers Compensation Fund, your case will receive individual attention from attorneys who know the Kansas worker's compensation system, statutes, regulations, and case law.

Wills and Trusts

Peace of mind at an affordable cost. Our simple questionnaire eases the process of preparing a will. A will allows you to decide who should have custody of your minor children and control of your funds, how your property should be distributed, and other important issues. A flat fee includes fact-finding, will drafting, revision, and execution of simple husband/wife reciprocating wills in the comfort of your own home.
